Still, it isn't for everyone. Maria-sama ga Miteru lacks action of any sort, but makes up for it with excellent character development, drama, and light-hearted humor. While the anime does get very emotional near the end, this serves only to enhance the experience. Maria-sama ga Miteru is excellent in most every way, and I highly reccomend it. Sachiko Ogasawara (小笠原 祥子 Ogasawara Sachiko) is a main character of Maria-sama ga Miteru. She is the daughter of Tooru Ogasawara and Sayako Ogasawara. Sachiko is often described as being cold and aloof but later on becomes a bit carefree after being soeurs with Yumi Fukuzawa. She picks up some lines and habits from Yōko Mizuno (Sachiko's grande souer) and delivers it to Yumi at.
The drama anime series also known as Maria-sama ga Miteru is about teen girls living in Tokyo Japan attending a school called Catholic Lillian Girls' Academy. The show is primarily focused on the lives of those on the student council of the school. This includes their romantic relationships, friendships, relationships with teachers, ambitions, home life, and so forth. The TV series was originally based on a novel series by Oyuki Konno. The show is meant to show the different lives of the different girls and how they all relate to each other on a larger level when they are at school.
